Community of Practice on Equity Centered Research and Evaluation

Our team members have led, executed, monitored, and evaluated a competitive portfolio of programs. We have the necessary skills to engage diverse grantees to include critical and contextual dimensions important to the evaluation. It is not enough to evaluate and lead diverse programs. We believe evaluators must also represent diversity and demonstrate critical reflexivity and competence to ensure recognition, accurate interpretation, and respect for those they serve. Viewed from the perspective of ethics, validity, and theory- equity in evaluation is imperative. We hold ourselves accountable in practicing critical and inclusive evaluation and leadership by: 

• recognizing the dynamics of power;
• addressing systemic drivers of inequality;
• critically examining and advocating for disability justice; 
• acknowledging the complexity and intersectionality of identity; and
• employing culturally appropriate methods.
